I one must say I always love seeing all the photos you include in your reviews. They always really add and help the reader(us) see it all! But thanks for another great review. This sounds so appealing i'm looking forward to trying it out.

Nice review of the Angelenos. I picked one up about a month ago at the recommendation of my cigar shop owner--it was $13. She thought I'd really like it because she knew I enjoyed the Oliva Connecticut Reserve and she was spot on (although I also smoke more med-full sticks now, more and more Cuban). In the final third of the Angelenos (lonsdale size), I thought it was the butteriest and creamiest smoke I've ever had. The butter flavor was almost overwhelming and I remember thinking 'how did they do that?' Super smooth and full of flavor even though it is a milder stick. Also pretty rare--I think this is the first review I've seen of it. Keep up the great reviews!

That cigar (OpusX) specifically is just sold at ridiculous prices in certain places, not necessarily everywhere. Good luck finding them at list price. I haven't seen any overall markups since the SCHIP tax was enforced. I'm a little worried about the proposal of more taxes on cigars. We're being taxed for enjoying a hobby...madness!

I think God Of Fire goes for about the same price here, so you may be in luck. Angelenos isn't as expensive as them- that I do know. If you can find the set it's a deal- the flint torch lighter on its own goes for $75, but the set has the limited edition design with two cigars for only $85.

They just moved the price up? Fortunately I haven't seen any of that here.. everyone has been keeping them at the price (if they have them), no unnecessary mark ups, but some limits per customer. I've been enjoying more anejos lately just because of it. It's been a wonderful Christmas :)

But I must admit I missed my chance on the Lost City! Grr... I saw them and decided to go the next day... all the boxes were gone.

Ouch. Well I can't complain, the Camacho Liberty goes for $15. But yes, Camacho's new connecticut cigar is hands down my favorite connecticut so far. I think God of Fire is around $20 here in PA. It's a good possibility that the Angelenos cigar would be higher in price if I could find them, not to mention the shop I go to (Cigars Intl.) jacked up the price on OpusX cigars. As if they weren't expensive enough :(

The set is fairly inexpensive, too, for such a beautiful presentation and quality product. I'm the same way as you with the retrohaling, I cannot smoke without doing it either ;)

Camacho Connecticut is a fantastic cigar! A favorite of mine when I think of mild cigars- I almost mentioned it in the video, too. Ha, great minds. The new Brittania from Kristoff is a very nice mild smoke as well. In fact, I've been thinking of making it one of my next reviews.

I would highly recommend tasting the Angelenos. I believe it is limited to cigar shops with Prometheus accounts. Anyone who carries God Of Fire would most likely have the Angelenos. They are about $12 to $15 a stick over here and worth it in my opinion. I'm thinking about having one again now, lol. Nom!
