Classic Sidecar Cocktail in Vintage Cocktail Coupe

Sidecar Cocktail

2 oz Cognac, Pierre Ferrand 1840
3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
3/4 oz Dry Curaçao
1/4 oz Simple Syrup

Combine ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, strain, and pour into sugar rimmed cocktail coupe.

Cigar Recommendations: For pairing, I think this cocktail works best with a mild + to medium, medium + strength cigar.

Bonus Tip: If the nicotine of a cigar ever starts to hit you, a little bit of sugar will calm you and bring you back into balance. For cigars that have a bit of a nicotine punch to them (you recognize them when you smoke them), a cocktail like this with the sugar rim is a great way to keep your experience an enjoyable one.
