Personal Cigar Blends: Camacho And Jeffrey Stone

While at one of Jeffery Stone’s Friday Finishers, I happened to discover a new blend Jeffrey has created with Camacho. The foot of the cigar has a band in celebration of his 30 year anniversary, and being curious as I am, I had to give it a taste!

Right away the first draw produces a nutty flavor and a medium body profile. There is a great amount of flavor in this cigar, and as the strength is a medium one it doesn’t overpower the flavor but rather compliments it nicely.

There is a lovely combination of nuts, espresso, and earth throughout the smoke that make it a delicious experience.

I think Jeffrey Stone and Camacho presented something great here, and at a very pleasing price I might add. This cigar was priced just under $7. Love it.

And so I ask you, what are some of your unexpected finds and favorite store or personal blends?

  1. Wow, that cigar looks delicious…I want one! I’m also suprised that a Camacho cigar is priced that low to be honest. Probably the more recent find of mine was the Man O’ War Ruination. It was not so much unexpected to the general public, but for me personally. I’m not sure if you have had one Teresa, but it is fantastic for those who crave a very full-bodied cigar. This cigar definitely made me an instant fan of AJ Fernandez.

Another one worth mentioning is the Cuba Libre by Nestor Plasencia. I wasn’t expecting so much from a cigar so reasonably priced. But one box later, it has definitely grown on me. Wrapped with a Cuban-seed Corojo wrapper, it has a very nice peppery spice through the nose.

    Great video Teresa!

  2. Big Camacho fan… not a big Stone fan.

  3. Another great smoke from Camacho, thanks for the review. As far as an unexpected find, I would have to say it has been the Oliva Connecticut Reserve. After researching the cigar on the blogs, I decided to purchase a box; and they have exceeded, well….my expectations; I guess they may still qualify as unexpected find. A wonderful mild and flavorful smoke; I just really appreciate them with my morning cup of coffee which seems to amplify their natural sweetness. Thanks again for the review Teresa and have a good day.
