Another great review! This cigar is definitely one I would like to try. I’ve really been enjoying the Joyo de Nicaragua Clasico over the past year; a wonderful mild, smooth, flavorful cigar. With the addition of the Criollo wrapper to this new cigar, a more complex cigar is offered! I will be looking for them. Thanks again Teresa.

Thank you so much, Jon- I’m delighted to hear you say that as it is the experience and pleasure I want to focus on. After all, it is a luxury and meant to relax you and be enjoyed.

I personally don’t have a taste for flavored either, be it coffee or cigars, but have close friends that do and as long as it is what they enjoy then I am happy to see it available for them. I also like how they are expanding to meet more palates in their natural blends- from those who favor the strong to those who appreciate a good mild. I haven’t seen a lancero Joya de Nicaragua but will start looking for it, I love that size. I bet it is tasty with the rich complexity of that blend. Let me know your thoughts once you come across this one!

I gotta say your reviews are really good. I have been following some other cigar blogs and really like your laid back approach, but with great detail of the smoking experience. Other cigar blogs try to hard or are just too damn angry (cigar rights, tobacco oppression, etc). Nice to see someone just really enjoying their smoke!

As for Drew Estate, their flavored stuff doesn’t do it for me, but recently had a Joya de Nicaragua lancero that was great. Looking forward to this one popping up in a local B&M.
