I agree that the box tour video was a really great opportunity for me. I am a TV producer, and what was said earlier is one of the first things you get to notice around cameras. Without a tripod, a zoom is not recommended. Zoom with your legs when hand-held, but I am sure you didn't want to get in the way. I am not bothered by the shakes, I guess I have seen it all. When a camera is fully zoomed out, it is easiest to control. BUT NOT WANTING TO PILE ON, the vids were both great. I appreciate being able to see em.

It was a very great experience, and perspective for that matter. I was amazed at some of the techniques they used for each box.

And I absolutely appreciate the constructive feedback ;) No worries, you won't offend me. I don't know that I would be any better at handling the camera myself either, but we are looking to do smoother shots in the future. All the videos from the trip were shot one after another and now we know what to look for and make better. It's raw and real here, and what footage I have I wish to post. Fortunately there is much more to visit and more experiences to be recorded and shared. I'll do my best to make them a better experience for all :)

The content is awesome!

Please don't get upset with me as I agree with Tyson. Some of the videos gives me motion sickness Deja Vu from when i was a little kid.

Refrain from using the zoom 99 times out of 100. The part of the video that worked for me was where the guy was laquering the boxes. You stayed on the subject held the camera steady and refrained from using the zoom.

Most of the time you are jerking the camera around too fast in an attempt to capture more content. I think getting less in this case would enhance your videos.

For walking a homemade mini steady cam rig would improve your videos. (A major pain as it is awkward and wears you out faster...)

I would also recommend getting tips from anyone you know that shots lots of video for a living.

Again I hope you don't take these comments and get mad at me as I love the site and the content but would like to see your videography improve.

If it helps ease the criticism any I suck just as bad or worse at using a video camera.

Video was a cool look at the box making process. However, as with a couple of the other videos from the trip the camera made me nauseas after just a minute or two of watching it. I have watched videos of factory sites from other sites and the quality is better. I did enjoy the video, just felt sick for awhile after watching it.

Wow, very cool. It's great that just about everything in the cigar process is done by hand. That's a true sign of quality. But I'm sure being there in person was the superior experience ;)
