I had the pleasure of meeting Kurt Van Keppel, owner of Xikar and HC Series Cigars, and discovering the details on the new HC Series as well as the latest news from Xikar.
This was my first tasting of the HC Series line and I was very happy with the experience. When I think of Xikar I think of accessories and wasn’t sure what to expect out of the new cigars. It was definitely a welcoming surprise and Kurt describes each cigar’s profile perfectly.
It was a pleasure speaking with Kurt and off camera we discussed the palate from cigars to food and especially wine. His passion and knowledge is a delight that can be seen within the products Xikar, and now HC Series Cigars, creates.

That is a great conversation! I was really excited about the body art segment. I am going to have my body painted for my next birthday and I am brainstorming on how to incorporate my two loves,music and cigars. I’ve yet to be ready for a tattoo! I am going to have my body canvas photo documented.
This interview was really special for me because my online BOTL, Cliff , works there and it is really cool to see a part of his world like that.

I just saw Cliff the other night at their Christmas Party- and what a turnout they had there, too- it was great! Cliff is great, he is always in such a great spirits when I see him and it is a pleasure to indulge in conversations of cigars, beers, and life.
